Account Manager – NGS & qPCR

Based: South & West Germany

The company is a global provider of Next Generation Sequencing and qPCR instruments and products. Their products are used for diagnostic testing of infectious diseases and cancer. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Account Manager for South & West Germany. 

The Role:

Your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities, as well as managing a number of existing customer accounts across the South and West regions of Germany.

Responsible for selling NGS and qPCR instruments and consumables.

The position is home office based with regular travel across the South and West regions of Germany.

Execute sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets in accordance with the regional business and financial growth plans.

You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions in Germany.

The Requirements:

A Degree or MSc or PhD or Diploma in a scientific field is essential: Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biology, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Proteomics, Biotechnology; or related.

Experience in a sales or applications role in the diagnostics or life sciences market.

Languages: Fluent German and English is essential.

Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
