Regional Sales Engineer – Microscopy
The company is an innovative manufacturer of microscopes and imaging systems. Their systems are used in applications ranging from single molecule to live cell confocal, TIRF to whole embryo and thick tissue imaging. Due to company growth and the ongoing success of their confocal imaging system, they now have an exciting opportunity to joining their team as the Regional Sales Engineer for France, BeNeLux and Spain and Portugal.
Responsible for developing new business relations, as well as managing and developing existing customer accounts and channel partner relations across France, BeNeLux, Spain and Portugal.
Meet and exceed sales targets, by understanding customers needs and providing effective & beneficial solutions.
Setup and successfully demonstrate systems to potential buyers, workshop and trade show attendees and other activities for product exposure in the market.
The position is home based in France, BeNeLux or Spain, with average 60% travel (3 days travel a week) across the territory.
Generate, qualify and manage all sales leads, prospects and new customer accounts.
Provide leadership to channel partners to facilitate sales and work with regional application specialist.
A Degree, MSc or PhD in a life sciences field is essential: Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences; or related field.
Experience in a sales or application specialist position within the life science / biological research market.
Thorough knowledge and experience with microscopy – Confocal, Widefield, Fluorescence, Live cell Imaging, or related.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
Comfortable with regular travel across the territory, average 60%.
