Sales Director EMEA
The company is a well-established manufacturer of life science research and diagnostics products, offering a range of antibodies, assay kits, proteins, enzymes, peptides, labware and chemicals. Their products are used for drug discovery, proteomics, cell biology, molecular biology and sample preparation. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Sales Director EMEA.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to achieve sales growth and profitability across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Responsible for managing and developing 20 employees across EMEA, as well as over seeing an extensive distribution channel.
Lead the commercial strategy, working with key clients and supporting the sales team to achieve targets.
The position is home office based anywhere across Europe, with around 60% travel.
Hire and develop employees to achieve business growth, with clear goals and objectives.
Developing and maintaining a market leading presence in each region.
University degree in business or scientific field is preferred; life sciences, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, biological sciences, business, bioinformatics, medical, biomedical sciences, or related.
Proven experience in leading a commercial team to achieve sales growth.
Extensive knowledge of the life science or diagnostic market and customers.
Energetic and highly motivated business leader, with a track record achieving and exceeding targets.
