Senior Account Manager
The company is a fast-growing provider of genomic sequencing services in the field of oncology and cancer research. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their business as the Executive Account Manager for the Mid-Atlantic.
Your primary goal is to prospect and develop new business opportunities, as well as managing existing relations with pharma/biopharma and biotech customers.
Responsible for promoting and selling their next generation sequencing / immuno-oncology portfolio of services.
The position is home office based in the Mid-Atlantic, with travel across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia.
Develop and implement individual, territory and account strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Working closely with the project management, field applications, sales and marketing teams.
A Degree, MSc or PhD is preferred: Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, Cancer Biology, Biology, Genetics, Life Sciences; or related field.
Experience successfully selling to pharma/biopharma customers in the Mid-Atlantic, with a focus on genomics, molecular biology, genetics, or related field.
Thorough understanding of NGS, and the drug discovery process.
Experience developing strong relationships ranging from level C executives to scientific directors within pharma/biopharma customers in the Mid-Atlantic area.
