Account Manager, Flow Cytometry Reagents

The company is an innovative manufacturer of flow cytometry instruments, reagents and analysis software. Their products are used by scientists across the world in pharmaceutical, CRO, cancer research institutions, and academic research institutions. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their business as the Account Manager for Flow Cytometry Reagents in the New York City metro area.
Develop and manage key relationships with new and existing customers in academic, pharmaceutical, CRO and clinical laboratories.
Working closely with internal sales specialists, technical application specialists and marketing teams to build business plan within the New York City metro area.
The position is home office based anywhere in the New York City metro area, with regular travel to customer sites.
Product demonstrations related to flow cytometry reagents.
Attending conferences and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and new business opportunities.
Working closely with the field service engineer team, internal R&D, and other internal teams.
BSc, MSc, or PhD in a scientific field: Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cancer Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry; or related field.
Either experience selling reagents or hands-on experience with flow cytometry is required.
Self-starter and target driven personality.
Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
Comfortable with 50% – 70% travel time to customer sites.
