Account Manager – Liquid Handling
Location: London, UK
The company is an innovative manufacturer of liquid handling systems and software. Their instruments are used for a range of applications including NGS, PCR, protein crystallization, high throughput screening, cell-based assays and immunoassays. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Account Manager for South UK.
The Role:
Your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities, as well as managing existing customer accounts.
You will also be responsible for providing pre and post sales applications support, including product demonstrations and customer training.
You will be selling a range of liquid handling systems to academic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
The position is home office based with 40/50% travel to customer sites in across South UK.
You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.
The Requirements:
BA/BSc, MSc or PhD is essential: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biology; or related field.
Experience selling life science instrumentation, reagents or services is preferred; not essential
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable with average 50% travel.
