Account Manager, Molecular Diagnostics
Location: North Germany
The company is a market leading manufacturer of In-Vitro Diagnostics instruments and kits for clinical and medical laboratories. Their automated diagnostics systems and test kits are used in hospital, clinical and research laboratories across the world. Their products allow doctors to make fast and accurate diagnosis in different disease fields like infectious diseases, neurological disorders, oncology and genetic diseases.
With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Account Manager for the North of Germany.
Your primary goal is to manage and develop customer relations in hospitals and clinical laboratories.
Create and implement a sales development plan for the region in accordance with the European sales objectives.
Work closely with customers to identify customer problems, challenges or needs and propose the right solutions.
The position is home office based in the north of Germany, with regular travel to customer sites in; Hamburg, Hanover, Bremen, and the surrounding areas.
Working closely with the sales, applications, marketing and service engineering teams in Europe.
Attending conferences and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and new business opportunities.
BSc, MSc or PhD in a scientific field; Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, Immunology; or related subject.
Experience selling diagnostics products to hospital, clinical or research laboratories.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Languages: Fluent German and English is essential.
