Biomedical Field Service Engineer

Location: Portland, Oregon

The company is a medical device manufacturer for critical care. Their product line includes ventilators, consumables, and accessories used in hospital ICU and emergency departments. Due to company growth, they now have an opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer in Portland, Oregon.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing of medical devices.

Working on a range of ventilators in ICU and emergency departments.

The position is home based in the Portland, Oregon area.

Travel 4 days a week to hospitals in Oregon and Washington (average 2 overnight stays each week), with 1 home office day each week.

Working closely with the service engineering team in the United States.

The Requirements:

Educated in a Biomedical and Medical field; Biomedical Technician, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Engineer, Medical Engineering; or related field.

Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites in Oregon and Washington.

Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to solve problems.

Drivers license.
