Business Development Manager – NGS Services
The company is a global leader in the genomic services market. They offer a range of services which include sanger and next-generation sequencing to biotechnology, pharmaceutical and scientific customers. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their commercial team as the Business Development Manager for BeNeLux
Working alongside the global sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing customers in the biotechnology market.
You will create and implement a business plan, to achieve objectives and targets.
Home office based, with 50% travel across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg.
Attend conferences and exhibitions.
Technical discussions with customers to understand their requirements and provide a suitable solution.
BA/MSc/PhD in a scientific is essential; Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Genomics, Biology or related.
Experience selling life sciences instruments/reagents/services is preferred, but not essential.
Knowledge and experience of DNA sequencing and/or next generation sequencing is essential.
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in English and Dutch is essential.
