Business Development Manager
The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation, with over 2,000 employees globally. Their instruments are used in genomics, cell biology, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry and molecular diagnostics. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Business Development Manager in Taiwan.
Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within biotech, pharma/biopharma, academic, CRO and genomics laboratories.
Manager and develop distributor network in Taiwan.
Provide application and product training to local distributor and dealers.
Work with local distributors on marketing campaigns / business plan to drive sales growth.
Ensure accurate sales reporting (forecast, market info) from local distributors.
The position is home office based in Taiwan, with travel to customer sites and distributor meeting.
Opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.
Educated in a scientific field: molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, chemistry, biological sciences, life sciences; or related subject.
Experience in a sales or distributor management position in the life sciences market in Taiwan.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
