The company is an innovative manufacturer of spectral flow cytometry and cell sorter instruments and software. Their flow cytometry instruments are used by scientists across the globe in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Cell Sorter Lead Specialist for customers across Europe.

The Role:

Serve as the primary scientific and technical lead for cell sorting applications by providing full support for on-site training, optimization and implementation of spectral cell sorting applications.

Provide timely feedback to R&D team on cell sorter hardware and software performance and needed improvements.

Work collaboratively with customers to develop multicolor panels and cell sorting applications.

Provide on-site / remote technical consultations to customers on the use, capabilities, and troubleshooting of cell sorter (instruments and software).

Develop and deliver pre-sales and post-sales cell sorter technical presentations.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and R&D to generate key data, both in-house and at customer sites, to create content for white papers, application notes, and customer presentations.

Create a product demonstration strategy working with Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams.

Make recommendations for new products and applications as well as enhancements to existing products.

The position is home office based anywhere in Europe, with average 50% travel time to customer sites and exhibitions/conferences.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc, or PhD: Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cancer Biology, Life Sciences, Biology; or related field.

Thorough knowledge and experience with flow cytometry and cell sorting / FACS.

Experience training users on cell sorting would be advantageous.

Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
