Field Applications Scientist, BeNeLux

Location: Belgium or Netherlands

The company is a market leading manufacturer of Genomic Imaging Instruments, Chips and Kits.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Field Applications Scientist for the BeNeLux

The Role

You will be responsible for providing onsite customer training to existing and potential new customers.

You will be supporting the Direct Sales Team in the BeNeLux and the distributors across EMEA.

The position is home office based in Belgium or Netherlands, with regular travel (50%) across the stated region.

Understand the local competitive landscape and provide feedback to the leadership team.

Working closely with the EMEA sales, applications support, marketing and channel partner teams.

The Requirements

Educated with a Degree, Master’s or PhD; Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biological Sciences, Genomics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology; or related field.

Minimum 2  years previous experience in a direct external customer support role in the Life Sciences industry

Languages: Fluent French and English is required.

Valid Drivers Licence.

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
