Location: South UK

The company is an innovative manufacturer of mass photometry solutions, designed to measure the mass of individual molecules. Their solutions are used in areas for research for sample characterisation, biomolecular interactions, protein oligomerisation and macromolecular assemblies. Due to company expansion, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their commercial team as a Field Application Specialist to cover Europe.

The role:

Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical presentations, training and demonstrations to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic and biotechnology markets.

Provide onsite / remote technical consultations to customers on the use, capabilities, and troubleshooting of instruments and consumables.

Working closely with the sales, marketing and service engineer teams, as well as internal R&D.

Attending conferences and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and new business opportunities.

The position is home office based with 60% travel to customers across Europe.

The requirements: 

Bachelor, Masters or PhD is essential: Biological Sciences, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biology; or other scientific related field.

Experience working in a customer facing or preforming training/demonstrations role is preferred; but not essential

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Comfortable with average 60% travel.

Fluent in English is essential.
