Field Service Engineer

Location: South Korea

The company is a global manufacturer of process engineering technology, offering an extensive range of products from laboratory to production sized machines and complete plants. Their process equipment is used for wet and dry grinding, mixing, dispersing, de-aeration and classifying. Their technology is used across the world in the Food, Pharma, Minerals, Cosmetic, Chemicals, and Battery markets.

They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer in South Korea.

The Role:

Perform commissioning, start-ups, and training for new equipment at the customer’s facility. This includes installation check, functional testing, operational check, and then machine maintenance and operation training.

Work primarily with the newest technologies in battery production equipment.

Perform timely and accurate service in customer‘s plants, such as installation, commissioning and repair of cutting-edge fine grinding machines.

Troubleshoot and consult with our customers in the battery industry, mostly at their highly-automated production plants, for producing battery components for electric vehicles (EV).

Train customer’s maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures.

The position is home office based in South Korea, with regular travel to customer sites.

The Requirements:

Educated in an engineering field; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering; or related field.

Mechanical and/or electrical experience, and process equipment knowledge would be desirable.

Comfortable with 80% travel time to customer sites in South Korea.

Preference for being in direct contact with customers and having good communication skills in English as well as high quality standards in your work ethic.
