The company is a market leading manufacturer of in-vitro diagnostic instruments for the clinical laboratory market. Their automated diagnostics system is used in hospital, clinical and research laboratories across the world. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Germany as the Field Service Engineer for Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility is the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory automation systems in Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland.

The position is home office based in Baden-Württemberg, with average 4 days travel each week to customer sites in Baden-Württemberg and Switzerland.

Customers include hospitals, clinical and research laboratories.

Full training is given on the instruments and position.

Working alongside the sales, support and service team Germany.

The Requirements

Educated in an engineering field is preferred; Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Medical Technician; or related subject.

Experience in a service engineering / technician position is preferred.

Ability to work independently, with natural ability and interest to solve problems.

Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites.

Languages: Fluent German and English is essential.
