Field Service Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
The company is an innovative manufacturer of flow cytometry instruments and software. Their products are used by scientists across the world in pharmaceutical, CRO, cancer research institutions, and academic research institutions. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer located in Philadelphia.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments for customers.
Supporting on a range of flow cytometry instrumentation and associated software.
Providing technical support to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets.
The position is home based in Philadelphia, with regular travel to customers sites in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (usually 4 days a week at customer site).
Working closely with the service and support team in North America.
Bachelor Degree / Master’s Degree in a scientific or engineering field; Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology; or related field.
Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites in the Philadelphia area.
Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to solve problems.
