Location
The company is an innovative manufacturer of flow cytometry instruments and software. Their flow cytometry instruments are used by scientists across the globe in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for Switzerland.
The role:
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments for customers.
Supporting on a range of flow cytometry instrumentation and associated software’s.
Providing technical support to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets.
The position is home office based in Switzerland, with regular travel to the major cities; Basel, Zürich, Geneva, Lausanne, and the surrounding areas.
Working closely with the service and support team in Europe.
The Requirements:
Bachelor Degree / Master’s Degree or training in a scientific or engineering field; Biology, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cell Biology; or related field.
Experience in a Field Service Engineer position with Life Science Research or Diagnostics instruments is preferred.
Comfortable with frequent travel across Switzerland.
Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to solve problems.
Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
