Field Service Engineer, Flow Cytometry – Tokyo

The company is an innovative manufacturer of flow cytometry instruments and software. Their flow cytometry instruments are used by scientists across the globe in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for Japan.

The role:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments for customers.

Supporting on a range of flow cytometry instrumentation and associated software’s.

Providing technical support to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets.

The position is home office based in Japan, with regular travel to customers sites.

Working closely with the global service and support team.

The Requirements:

Bachelor Degree / Master’s Degree or training in a scientific or engineering field; Biology, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cell Biology; or related field.

Experience in a Field Service Engineer position with Life Science Research / Flow Cytometry instruments.

Comfortable with regular travel in Japan.

Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to solve problems.

Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.

Languages: Fluent English and Japanese is essential.
