The company is a manufacturer of chromatography consumables and instrumentation for gas chromatography. Their products are used by chemists across the world in pharmaceutical, academic, chemicals, forensic and environmental testing laboratories.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer based in Texas.

The Role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of the instruments.

Accurately diagnose issues, discern customer needs, troubleshoot instruments and software, and find solutions to repair instruments.

The position is home office based anywhere in Texas with up to 80% travel to customer sites.

Providing technical support to customers across the region.

Communicate effectively with customers and team regarding scheduling, repair or maintenance needs, part requests, expectations, and outcomes.

Working closely with the sales and support team in the USA and across the globe.

The Requirements

Educated with a BSc, MSC or PhD in a scientific field; Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Forensic Sciences, Analytical Sciences; Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience installing, Maintaining, or repairing instruments.

Goal oriented, highly motivated, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Comfortable with travel across America.

Valid Driver’s Licence.
