Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Automation

Location: Paris, France

The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation. Their instruments are used in cell biology, genomics, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, and immunodiagnostics. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for the Paris region.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility is the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory automation systems.

This position is home based with travel to customers sites in the Paris region.

Customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academia, hospitals, food & beverage, as well as other industries.

Working alongside the sales, support and service team in France.

Full training is given on the instruments.

The Requirements:

Educated in an engineering or life sciences field; Electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, biotechnology, biology; or related field.

Experience of installing, maintaining and repairing high tech instruments is essential – Laboratory instruments, medical equipment, diagnostics equipment, automation.

Fluent in English and French is essential.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
