Field Service Engineer, Western France – Life science imaging
Location: West France
The company is a global leading manufacturer of live cell analysis instruments and consumable products in the life science market. Their instruments are used within immunology, neuroscience, oncology and cell therapy. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer for Western France.
The Role:
Your primary responsibility is the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of their live cell analysis system and high content cell screener.
This position is home based in Western France with estimated 80% travel across Brittany, Pays-de-la-Loire, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Centre-Val de Loire
Customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academia, hospitals, food & beverage, as well as other industries.
Working alongside the sales, support and service team in Europe.
Full training is given on the instruments.
The Requirements:
Educated in an engineering or scientific field is preferred; electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, cell biology, immunology, biological sciences, biomedical sciences, cancer biology, neuroscience; or related.
Experience of installing, maintaining and repairing high tech instruments is preferable – Laboratory instruments, medical equipment and diagnostics equipment
Open to regular travel with overnight stays.
Languages: Fluent French and English is essential
Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
