Location: North France

The company is a global leader in the field of surface science. They manufacture instruments for the analysis of surfaces, interfaces, and foam. Their product line covers Drop Shape, Foam Analysis, High Pressure, High Temperature, Inkjet Analysis, Interfacial Rheology, Surface Roughness and Tensiometers. Their systems are used by scientists and engineers across the globe in academic, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, metal/steel, automotive, electronics/semiconductor and medical device markets.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for the North of France.

The Role:

You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments at customer sites in the North of France.

Providing technical support to customers in the academic, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, metal/steel, automotive, electronics/semiconductor and medical device markets.

The position is home based in the North of France, with regular travel to customers sites (up to 70% travel).

Working closely with the service team in Europe.

The Requirements:

BSc or MSc in an engineering or scientific field: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering; or related field.

Field Service Engineer experience.

Languages: Fluent French and English.

Comfortable with up to 70% travel.
