Field Service Engineer

Location: Exton, Pennsylvania

The company is a global manufacturer of grinding and dispersing technology, offering an extensive range of products from laboratory to production sized machines and complete plants. Their technology is used across the world in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, mining and minerals markets. They now have an opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer to support customers in the US and Canada.

The Role:

You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, training and repairing equipment at customer sites across the US and Canada.

The position is based from Exton, Pennsylvania, with up to 80% travel time to customer sites across the US and Canada.

Work with customers via phone, e-mail, video calls and in person to resolve equipment issues.

Perform commissioning, start-up, and training for new equipment at the customer’s facility.  This includes installation check, functional testing, operational check, and maintenance operation training.

Provide technical support for customer property (parts or systems) that are returned to facility for repair.  Manage repairs for the customer while the parts are at our facility.

The Requirements:

Educated in an engineering field is preferred; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics; or related field.

Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites across the US and Canada.

Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Drivers license.
