Field Service Engineer – Spektroskopie / Chromatographie

Location: Frankfurt / Darmstadt, Germany (with 50% travel time in Germany)

The company is a manufacturer of spectroscopy and chromatography instruments. Their product line covers FTIR, UV-Vis/NIR, Raman Spectroscopy, HPLC, LC-MS, and other chromatography instruments.

Their technology is used by chemists and scientists across the world in pharmaceutical, academic, chemicals, food & beverage, forensics, and other industries.

They now have an opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer in Germany.

The Position:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments at customer sites in Germany.

Supporting on a range of spectroscopy and chromatography instruments.

Providing technical support to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic, chemicals, food & beverage, and forensics markets.

Working from the site in Darmstadt with a team of engineers and scientists, with up to 50% travel time to customer sites in Germany.

Working closely with the service and support team in Germany.

The Requirements:

Educated in a Scientific or Engineering field; Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience with Spectroscopy or Chromatography technology preferred.

Comfortable with 50% travel to customer sites in Germany.

Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to solve problems.

Languages: Fluent German and English.
