Field Service Engineer

Location: Austria or Slovenia

The company is a global market leading manufacturer of analytical instruments, including Rheometers, Differential Scanning Calorimeters, and Differential Thermal Analyzers. Their products are used by scientists and engineers across the world in the chemicals, metals, building materials, academic, and pharmaceutical industries. They now have an opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Austria and Slovenia.

The Role:

You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments at customer sites in Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia.

The position is home office based, with average 4 days a week travel to customer sites.

Support customers via phone, e-mail, video calls and in person to resolve equipment issues.

Supporting customers in the chemicals, metals, building materials, academic, and pharmaceutical industries.

Working closely with the service and support team in Europe.

The Requirements:

Educated in an engineering or scientific field; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemistry, Materials Science; or related field.

Experience in a Field Service Engineer position.

Comfortable with regular travel to customer sites in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.

Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Languages: Fluent German and English are essential.

Drivers license.
