Their product line covers Drop Shape, Foam Analysis, High Pressure, High Temperature, Inkjet Analysis, Interfacial Rheology, Surface Roughness and Tensiometers. Their systems are used by scientists and engineers across the globe in academic, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, metal/steel, automotive, electronics/semiconductor and medical device markets. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for the UK.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments for customers.

Working with customers in the academic, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, metal/steel, automotive, electronics/semiconductor and medical device markets

Working closely with the sales and support team in Europe.

The position is home based with estimated 70% travel to customer sites.

The Requirements:

Educated in a scientific or engineering field: Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Physical Chemistry, Mineralogy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; or related field.

Experience as a Field Service Engineer working with analytical, life science or diagnostics equipment experience is essential.

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.

Comfortable with regular travel.
