Field Service Engineer

Location: BeNeLux

The company is a global leading manufacturer of x-ray instruments used for chemical, physical and structural analysis of materials. Their systems are used by scientists and engineers across the world in academic, building materials, metals, mining, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, polymers, oils and plastics industries. They now have an opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Engineer for the BeNeLux.

The Role:

You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repairing instruments for customers in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The position is home office based in Belgium or the Netherlands, with average 4 days travel to customer sites each week in the BeNeLux.

Providing technical support to customers in the academic, building materials, metals, mining, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, polymers, oils, plastics, other industries.

Focussing on X-ray instruments: X-ray diffractometers and X-ray Fluorescence spectrometers.

Working closely with the service and support team in the BeNeLux.

The Requirements:

Educated in an engineering or scientific field; Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Materials Engineering; or related field.

Experience in a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician position on high-tech equipment.

Language skills; Fluent Dutch and English are essential.

Highly motivated, and comfortable with regular travel in Belgium and the Netherlands.
