Location: South of England

The company is an innovative manufacturer of spectral flow cytometry instruments and software. Their spectral cell analyzers and cell sorter are used by scientists across the globe in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets. They now have an opening for a Flow Cytometry Application Specialist in the South of England.

The Role:

Assist customers by providing training on analyzers and supporting experimental setup and assay optimization.

Provide onsite / remote technical consultations to customers on the use, capabilities, and troubleshooting of products (instruments, software, and reagents). Timely recording and documentation of customer interactions and communicates effectively on the results of these visits to internal customer facing teams.

Develop and deliver pre-sales technical presentations in alignment with business initiatives. Work collaboratively with Sales and Service teams to provide customers with instrument and reagent demonstrations.

Provide onsite support for sales/marketing events, including technical support for trade shows, sponsored seminar series, and user group meetings.

Partner with the Service organization to rapidly resolve issues at the customer site. Makes recommendations for enhancements to existing products.

The position is home office based in the south of England, with approximately 50% travel to customer sites in the south of England.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc or PhD in; Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cancer Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology; or related field.

Hands-on experience using flow cytometry for immunology research, immune cell phenotyping and other cell-based assays is preferred.

Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a plus.

Comfortable with average 50% travel time in the south of England.
