Flow Cytometry Technical Application Specialist

Location: Switzerland

The company is an innovative manufacturer of flow cytometry instruments and software. Their flow cytometry instruments are used by scientists across the globe in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Flow Cytometry Technical Application Specialist for Switzerland.

The Role:

Work collaboratively with customers to develop multicolor panels and assays.

Support customers with workflow development, optimization, and implementation of flow cytometry applications.

Develop and deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical presentations to customers in the pharmaceutical, academic, CRO and clinical markets.

The position is home office based in or close Switzerland, with travel to customer sites in Switzerland.

Provide onsite / remote technical consultations to customers on the use, capabilities, and troubleshooting of instruments, software, and reagents.

Working closely with the sales, marketing and service engineer teams, as well as internal R&D.

Attending conferences and exhibitions to increase brand awareness and new business opportunities.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc or PhD: Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cancer Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology; or related field.

Thorough knowledge and experience with flow cytometry and related applications.

Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Ability to operate independently and strategically to achieve individual and corporate goals.

Comfortable with average 50% travel across Switzerland.
