Genomics Sales Specialist

Location: UK 

The company is a global leading manufacturer of genomic and NGS library prep kits. Their DNA and RNA sequencing kits are used across the globe in sequencing centres, universities, genomic service providers, agricultural, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. With a market leading presence, they are now looking for a Genomics Sales Specialist to join their team in the UK.

The Role:

Responsible for managing existing key customer accounts and developing new business opportunities in the UK.

Working with customers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, sequencing centres, universities, genomic service providers and agricultural markets.

The position is home office based anywhere in the UK, with travel to customer sites.

Working closely with the sales and applications team in Europe.

Opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions in the UK.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc or PhD in a related field: Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, Genomics, Genetics, Cancer Biology, Biology, Biotechnology; or related field.

Sales experience and success in the life sciences market.

Experience with genomics and NGS.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
