Global Product Manager – Haemoglobins

Location: Remote

The company is a manufacturer of diagnostic test kits and instruments, used for clinical and point-of-care diagnostics. Their products are used to detect:  infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, autoimmune disorders, haemoglobin disorders and diabetes. They now have an opportunity to join their team as the Global Product Manager, managing the marketing of the Haemoglobins portfolio of products, related instrumentation and ancillary components.

The Role:

Part of the Global Marketing and Product Management team.

Responsible for the overall product marketing and project management of the Haemoglobins portfolio.

Build productive relationships internally and externally. Liaise with all relevant functions within the group to achieve excellent brand awareness with all external key stakeholders and customers.

Development of territory specific tactical strategies.

Maintain worldwide forecast, analyse sales (trend analysis profitability).

Contribute to development of marketing communications.

Full product life-cycle management.

Development of global product marketing plans including situation analysis, price, registration plan, segmentation, targeting, positioning, product life cycle, revenue forecasting and marketing mix (7 P’s) to create a competitive advantage in answer to customers evolving needs.

Coordinate activities and efforts with R&D, manufacturing and related functions and internal and external sales organisations to support on market products and enhance our user knowledge and experience.

Provide support to the internal and external sales teams for product launch trainings, generation of relevant marketing collateral, sales promotional aids, educational material and exhibition planning and attendance.

Global travel to trade shows and exhibits (home-based role with 30-40% travel).

The Requirements:

Product Management, Sales or Marketing background.

Knowledge of the IVD/ pharma market for diabetes would be an advantage.

Experience and technical knowledge of HPLC technologies is an advantage.

High energy, uses own initiative and a proven self-starter.

Motivated and results orientated with proven experience in driving results and achieving goals.

Ability to travel internationally 30-40% of the time.

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with a customer focus.
