Group Product Manager, Protein Expression – EMEA

Location: France or Germany

The company is a market leading manufacturer of Scientific Instrumentation for the Biopharmaceutical industry. Their products include Bioreactors, Lab Filtration and Purification, Process Chromatography. Their products are used by Scientists across the world in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Academic Laboratories.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Group Product Manager Protein Expression

The Role 

You will be responsible for a team of 3 Product Managers (growing to 4) tasked with improving the Market Share within Pharma, Medicine and Biotech Markets.

The territory covered is EMEA .

The position is home based in France or Germany with travel to support the sales teams across the region.

Close collaboration with regional and global FSE, FAS, Sales, Development and Technical Support personnel for team success. Team work and flexibility is essential.

Develop tactical plan with the sales force regional directors and provide excellent presentations to sales, applications and technical consultants as well as external customers

Develop new product road maps, co-run development stage gate process and launch new products.

The Requirements

Educated or Qualified with a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in any Life Science Discipline, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering etc

Experience leading a team is required.

Minimum 5 years Experience in Marketing to the relevant customer base, Biopharma.

Languages: Fluent English is required.

Valid Drivers Licence.

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
