Key Account Manager – Epigenetics / Genomics
Location: West Germany
The company is a market leading biotechnology company manufacturing instruments and reagents for life science research and molecular diagnostics. Their product portfolio consists of instruments, automated systems, kits and antibodies used within epigenetics.
With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Key Account manager for West Germany.
You will be responsible for managing and developing key customer accounts and increasing the sales revenue in the territory.
You will need to develop a good relationship with the major players in the basic research, biomarker and pre-clinical drug development space.
The customer base includes Universities, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies.
The position is home office based in the West of Germany, with regular travel within the territory; Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, and the surrounding area.
Working closely with the Sales & Marketing team, as well as internal R&D and Technical Support.
Generate new leads from exhibitions, tradeshows and marketing campaigns.
Educated with a Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD; Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biological Sciences, Genomics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology; or related field.
Existing experience in a Sales or Applications function within the life sciences market.
Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
German and English language proficiency is a necessity.
