NGS Account Manager
Based: Oxford, England
The company is a global leader in the genomic services market. They offer a range of services which include DNA sequencing, next-generation sequencing, gene synthesis, molecular biology and bioinformatics to biotechnology, pharmaceutical and scientific customers. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their commercial team as the account manager for Oxford and the Southwest.
Working alongside the global sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing customers in the biotechnology market.
You will create and implement a business plan, to achieve objectives and targets.
Home office based, with 50% travel across Oxford and the Southwest with a focus on Oxford.
Collaborate with Marketing on creating a marketing plan as well as attend conferences and exhibitions.
Technical discussions with customers to understand their requirements and provide a suitable solution.
A degree or master’s or PhD in a scientific is essential, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Genomics, Biology or related.
Knowledge and experience of DNA sequencing and/or next generation sequencing is preferred, but not essential.
Fluent English and a Valid Driver’s licence is Essential.
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
