Regional Sales Manager (IVD) – Northern Europe

Location: Northern Europe

The company is a manufacturer of IVD test kits and instruments, used for clinical and point-of-care diagnostics. Their products are used to detect: infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, autoimmune disorders, haemoglobin disorders and diabetes. They now have an opportunity to join their team as the Regional Sales Manager covering Germany, the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

The Role:

Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the IVD market.

Manage and develop distributor network across Germany, the UK, Ireland, the BeNeLux and the Nordics.

Provide application and product training to local distributor and dealers.

Work with local distributors on marketing campaigns / business plan to drive sales growth.

Ensure accurate sales reporting (forecast, market info) from local distributors.

The position is home office based anywhere in Germany, the UK, Ireland, the BeNeLux and the Nordics. The role will involve travel across the territory to customer and distributor sites.

The Requirements: 

Educated in a scientific field: molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, chemistry, biological sciences, life sciences; or related subject.

Experience in a sales or distributor management position in the IVD market in Europe.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of haemoglobins, specifically HbAC1 would be an advantage.

Languages: Fluent English is essential. Any other languages are an advantage.
