Repair Center Technician
The company is an innovative manufacturer of biotechnology instruments and software. Their instruments are used by scientists across the globe in pharmaceutical, CRO, cancer research institutions, and academic research institutions. Due to company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Repair Center Technician in Fremont.
Responsible for acquiring a technical understanding of the system under test and conducting the System Final Test accurately and consistently.
Calibrate and optically align the System Under Test.
Troubleshoot technical issues that occur during the System Final Test process, identify root cause, and correct the issue in support of successful completion of Final System Test.
Troubleshooting will include laser, fluidic, electronic and optical sub-system assessment.
Testing returned units, collecting data, and analyzing patterns.
Serve as a liaison between Operations, Design Engineering, and Field Engineering to influence the Manufacturability and Serviceability of the product design.
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in an engineering field; Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Medical Engineering; or related field.
Experience working with multi-sub-system equipment including electronic, optical, fluidic, and application software sub-systems is a plus, but not essential.
Problem solving, analytical and clear communication skills are essential.
