Location: Southeast, UK

The company is a global provider of life science research products, offering solutions for cultivation and analysis of cell and tissue cultures. Their products are used for cell culture, molecular biology, protein crystallisation, immunology and liquid handling. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Sales Account Manager.

The Role

Your primary responsibility is to manage accounts across a designated region, as well as identify and secure new business opportunities.

Responsible for selling a range of life science research consumable and equipment used for, cell culture, molecular biology. Protein crystallisation, immunology and liquid handling and more.

The position is home office based, with 60% travel to customers in Southeast in England, including Greater London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Execute sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets in accordance with the regional business and financial growth plans.

You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.

The Requirements

BA/BSC, MSc, PhD or equal laboratory experience in a scientific field: cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, immunology, biological sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, biology; or related.

Experience selling life science or diagnostics products in United Kingdom is preferred, but not essential.

Open to extensive travel.

Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
