Location: South Korea

The company is a global leading manufacturer of Life Science Research instruments. Their instruments are used in genomics, cell biology, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry and molecular diagnostics. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Sales and Distributor Manager for South Korea.

The Role:

Working with the local distributor partners in South Korea, you will be responsible for managing and developing the sales in South Korea.

Collaborating with key customers in South Korea.

Support distributor partners with technical and consultative sales process for a range of automated pipetting robots and laboratory automation solutions.

The position is home office based in South Korea, with travel to customer sites and distributor site.

Working closely with the sales, applications, and service engineer teams in Asia.

Opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.

The Requirements:

Educated with a BSc, MSc, or PhD in a scientific field: molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, biochemistry, chemistry, biological sciences, life sciences; or related subject.

Experience in a sales, application specialist or distributor manager function for life science research or diagnostics instruments; laboratory automation, liquid handling, PCR, qPCR, DNA, imaging, microplate reader/washer, flow cytometry, microscopy; or related technology.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

Fluent English and Korean language skills are essential.
