Location: Baden-Württemberg

The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation. Their instruments are used in genomics, cell biology, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry, and molecular diagnostics applications. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Sales Specialist for Baden-Württemberg.

The Position:

You will be responsible for managing existing key customer accounts and developing new business opportunities in Baden-Württemberg.

The position is home office based, with average 50% travel time to customer sites in Baden-Württemberg.

Working with customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and clinical markets.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales project from consultation to completion.

Working closely with the Applications Support, Marketing, and Field Service Engineering teams in Europe.

You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.

The Requirements:

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in a scientific field is essential; Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Life Science; or related subject.

Sales or Applications experience in the life sciences market would be preferable, but not essential.

Languages: Fluent German and English are essential.

Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
