Sales Specialist, Large-Scale Chromatography
Location: South West Germany
The company is a market leading manufacturer of analytical instruments. Their portfolio consists of chromatography, purification and automated sample preparation instruments. Their instruments are used in Food and Beverage, Environmental, CRO/CMO, Academic, Forensics, and Pharmaceutical laboratories across the world. They now have an opportunity to join the business as an Account Manager for Central and Southern Europe.
Your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities, as well as managing a number of existing customer accounts.
Responsible for selling a range of large-scale chromatography systems, consumables and chemistry media to the CDMO and pharmaceutical customers
The position is home office based, with regular travel throughout South Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain
Execute sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets in accordance with the regional business and financial growth plans.
You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.
A scientific degree is essential; analytical chemistry, chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry; or related.
Experience selling into Food and Beverage, Environmental, CRO/CMO, Academic, Forensics or Pharmaceutical customers.
Fluent German and English essential.
Comfortable with frequent travel across a designated region.
Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
