Sales Specialist

Location: North of France

The company is a global leading manufacturer of instruments used for chemical, physical and structural analysis of materials. Their technology consists of Particle Size Analysis, X-Ray Diffraction, and X-Ray Fluorescence. Their systems are used to determine the structure and properties of advanced materials and their components.

They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Sales Specialist for the North of France.

The Role: 

You will be responsible for selling instruments to existing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities in the North of France.

Working with customers in the Advanced Materials customer segment; universities, battery chemicals, semiconductor.

The position is home office based, with regular travel to customers.

Working closely with the sales and support team in Europe.

Opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions in France.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc or PhD in a related scientific field: Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Physical Chemistry, Mineralogy; or related field.

Experience in a customer facing position in the scientific instruments market; particle characterization, spectroscopy, XRD, XRF, microscopy, or related field.

Languages: Fluent French and English is essential.

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
