Technical Sales Specialist – Cellular Imaging 

Location: Munich, Germany

The company is an innovative manufacturer of cellular imaging instruments. Their products are used in a variety of applications such as, cell biology, oncology, neurology and bioprocessing. They now have an exciting position to join their team as a Technical Sales Specialist for Southern half Germany and Austria.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities, as well as managing existing customer accounts.

You will also be responsible for providing pre and post sales applications support, including product demonstrations and customer training.

You will be selling automated cell counters, high content imager and tissue clearing systems to biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO’s, universities and academic facilities.

Execute sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets in accordance with the regional business and financial growth plans.

The position is home office based with 50 % travel to customers across Southern half Germany and Austria.

You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.

The Requirements: 

BA, BSc, Masters, PhD or equivalent is essential: Biological Sciences, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biology, chemistry; or other scientific related field.

Experience selling life science instrumentation/capital equipment, consumables, reagents, or services is preferred, but is not essential.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Fluent in Germany and English.

Comfortable with average 50% travel.
