Technical Sales Specialist – Diagnostics

Location: Greater Boston, MA

The company is a manufacturer of ELISA kits, RIA kits, lateral flow assay kits, flow cytometry assay kits and turbidimetric assays kits. Their innovative products are used for clinical chemistry, autoimmunity, neuroimmunology, gastroenterology, to name a few. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their team at a Technical Sales Specialist.

The role

Primary focus of position is to provide technical sales and services to customers at clinical labs throughout the US.

You will also be responsible for supporting validation of new medical diagnostic assay installations.

Preparing and delivering effective product presentation & trainings.

Supporting current customers and development of new customers.

The role will be home office based with around 70% travel to customers sites across the US.

The requirements

Degree / MS / PhD or equal laboratory experience in a scientific field; Cell biology, immunology, biological sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, cancer biology; or related.

Professional experience in the clinical or research laboratory is required; experience with clinical chemistry analysers and other immunoassays is preferred.

Sales or Applications experience would be of beneficial, but not necessary.

Open to regular travel across the US

Highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
