Technical Sales Specialist

Location: Central USA

The company is a market leading manufacturer of Genomic Imaging Instruments, Software, Chips and Kits.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Technical Sales Specialist based in Central US.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving new business and supporting accounts across Central USA.

You will be developing the territory and building relationships with clients.

The position is home office based anywhere in Central USA with some travel (30%) across the stated region to attend conferences, Trade Shows and Key Customers.

Understand the local competitive landscape and provide feedback to the leadership team.

Working closely with the sales, applications support, marketing and channel partner teams.

The Requirements

Educated with a Degree, Master’s or PhD; Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biological Sciences, Genomics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology; or related field.

Minimum 2 years in an Applications, Service or Sales role.

Languages: Fluent English is required.

Valid Drivers Licence

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.
