Technical Sales Specialist

The company is a global leader in the field of surface science. They manufacture instruments for the analysis of surfaces and interfaces.

With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Technical Sales Specialist in Île-de-France.

The Role:

You will be responsible for selling instruments to existing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities in Île-de-France and the North of France.

The position is home based in Île-de-France, with regular travel to customer sites.

Working with customers in the academic, pharmaceutical, chemicals, coatings, metal/steel, automotive, electronics/semiconductor and medical device markets.

Opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions in the France.

The Requirements:

BSc, MSc or PhD in a scientific or engineering field: Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Physical Chemistry, Mineralogy, Mechanical Engineering; or related field.

Sales experience with scientific instruments to a similar customer base.

Goal oriented, highly motivated and excellent communication skills are essential.

Languages; Fluent French and English language skills are essential.
