Field Service Engineer

The company is a specialized service provider for scientific and laboratory equipment. Their core focus is supporting mission-critical instruments that help run experiments and production.

They now have an opportunity to join their service team as a Field Service Engineer to support their LS/MS product line. You will be working with biotech, pharma, academic, CRO, government and other accounts, across the Northeast region (occasional national travel).

The position:

Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on LC/MS instruments. 

Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs.

Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation.

Create and properly maintain customer service logs and documentation.

Accurately input repair part orders, service records, and time entries.
